RED TAG ~BROOKLYN RISING~ Antique moonstone ring

This ring, as you might have figured; reminds of two things; the marvellous examples of Art Deco architecture found in several buildings in New York, not least the Empire State…
And a more personal memory, walking down the East River bank on a late spring evening. Watching the moon rise across the bridge. 
This ring - to me - is as NYC a piece of jewellery as I have ever seen 
9 carat gold, handmade size 8.25 (Q) with a marvellous moonstone held securely in Belcher style claws. Unmarked, XRF tested. 5.30 grams in weight. Moonstone about 14 x 10 mm
